Job Summary:
The Riggers – Radio Installation will be responsible for installation, alignment, commissioning, and maintenance of RF radio equipment, antennas, and associated telecom systems at remote operational locations. The role involves tower climbing, field deployment, and working in challenging environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install and mount radio equipment, antennas, ODU/IDU units, and feeder cables on towers and masts.
- Perform antenna alignment and basic commissioning activities.
- Carry out tower climbing for installation and maintenance work.
- Handle cable routing, connector termination, grounding, and weatherproofing.
- Coordinate Sr. engineers during deployment activities.
- Follow safety procedures during field and tower activities.
Working Areas:
The Rigger will be deployed in remote and strategic operational locations, including
- Remote surveillance locations
- Desert, coastal, hilly, and isolated field areas
- Defence and paramilitary operational sites
Required Skill Sets:
- Basic knowledge of RF/telecom equipment installation.
- Familiarity with microwave radio systems and antenna alignment.
- Understanding of feeder cable handling, grounding, and weatherproofing.
- Knowledge of tower climbing and rigging practices.
- 10th /12th / ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in RF installation or telecom field work preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Field-based role involving frequent travel.
- Work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Deployment at remote operational sites across India.
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
