Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PPC Engineer with experience in heavy fabrication and manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and monitoring fabrication activities to ensure timely project execution and optimum resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
- Monitor fabrication progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Analyze production capacity, manpower, machine loading, and material availability.
- Generate production MIS reports and track project status.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement for raw material planning.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and fabrication resources.
- Follow up on bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain production records, WIP reports, and planning documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of production planning and control processes.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel, pressure vessels, or related manufacturing.
- Good understanding of fabrication drawings and manufacturing workflow.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in PPC within heavy fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- Experience handling fabrication shop planning and production coordination.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
