We are looking for proactive “Engineering Manager” with proven leadership skills. You are expected to work on many projects at the same time, build and manage diverse teams of engineers from different disciplines, formulate and execute strategies, and coordinate with other managers. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing new designs and products, proposing budgets for projects, and overseeing all the activities related to each project.
Expertise : Your experience across the years in the Roles you have played.
- 8 to 10 years of working experience in Laravel, Code Igniter ,Slim Framework.
- Solid PHP basic and OOPs concepts, PHP higher version
- Strong MySQL database knowledge. Knowledge of Clustering, Replication, Stored Procedures, DBMS - added advantage
- Hand- on experience of Server technologies[AWS] like setup S3,EC2,load balancers, code deployment and scaling, DNS Management, Database Management, Payment Gateway Integration
- Understanding of Multi-tier architecture of the application
- Proficient understanding of code version tools, such as Git, SVN.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and ajax.
- Knowledge of React.JS will be an added advantage.
- Experience in developing and consuming web services like REST, SOAP, XML
- Proficient on API documentation tools/framework such as Postman, Swagger.
- Team Leader, Team Management.
- Development experience as per SOLID principles.
- Experience in Client Communication
- Adaptive to Start-up culture and fast paced growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Hire and build a globally-distributed, happy, and successful engineering team.
- Managing a team of 20+ Engineers including Technology leads.
- Closely work with the product team to transform the product roadmap to engineering plan.
- Convert high-level engineering plan into an agile sprint plan with accurate effort estimation ensuring smooth and timely delivery of the project.
- Manage a team of software engineers and technical leads from various disciplines such as frontend, backend, and QA.
- Plan and execute long term strategies that benefit your team and the product stage(s).
- Understand Engineering KPIs and seek to improve them.
- Conduct managerial interviews for candidates.
- Generate and implement process improvements, especially cross-team processes.
