Role Overview
the Saffron Solution (tSS) is looking for a Network & Security Administrator on a 3-month contract basis to support our internal IT infrastructure and security operations.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing company IT assets, implementing and maintaining device management through MDM solutions, and configuring secure VPN access for employees across the organization. The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to independently manage IT and security operations in a remote work environment.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company IT assets and inventory records.
- Configure and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for employee devices.
- Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot VPN access for employees.
- Ensure endpoint security policies and compliance are properly implemented.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities related to devices and access management.
- Deploy and enforce cloud security controls and configurations to ensure secure access, compliance, and protection of organizational resources.
- Implement and manage device management solutions (MDM) to centrally control, secure, and monitor employee laptops and endpoints.
- Assist in securing laptops, workstations, and company systems.
- Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and access-related issues.
- Maintain documentation related to assets, VPN configurations, and security procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or security support.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms and device management.
- Experience configuring and managing VPN solutions.
- Understanding of endpoint security and access control practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of firewall and network security concepts.
- Familiarity with asset tracking systems and IT documentation.
- Exposure to remote support tools and endpoint monitoring solutions.
