Job Summary
The Computer Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the school's computer systems, networks, and technology equipment. This role ensures that teachers, students, and administrative staff have reliable access to technology resources needed for teaching, learning, and school operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support
- Provide technical assistance to teachers, students, and staff.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
- Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other technology devices.
Network Administration
- Monitor and maintain the school's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity problems.
- Assist with Wi-Fi setup and maintenance across the campus.
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform regular maintenance and preventive checks on computer equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty hardware components.
- Maintain inventory records of computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
Classroom Technology Support
- Support smart boards, projectors, audio-visual systems, and educational technology tools.
- Assist teachers in using classroom technology effectively.
- Prepare computer labs and technology resources for classes and examinations.
Security and Data Management
- Implement antivirus, security updates, and backup procedures.
- Help maintain data security and user access controls.
- Ensure compliance with school technology policies.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
