About the Role
Ryvanta is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 2 years of experience and possess a basic understanding of accounting principles, GST compliance, bookkeeping, and financial record management. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, vouchers, and invoices.
- Process purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries.
- Assist in maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions. GST & Compliance
- Assist in GST data preparation and reconciliation.
- Verify GST-compliant invoices and maintain proper documentation.
- Support GST return filing processes and statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with consultants and senior accounts personnel regarding tax-related requirements. Bank & Cash Management
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Maintain petty cash records and monitor cash transactions.
- Assist in processing vendor payments and tracking customer receipts.
- Follow up on outstanding payments when required. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
- Support the preparation of MIS and management reports.
- Maintain financial records required for audits and compliance.
- Identify discrepancies and report them to the reporting manager. Vendor & Client Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices and payment reconciliations.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules.
- Support account reconciliation activities. General Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting records.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform additional finance and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting concepts.
- Understanding of bookkeeping and ledger management.
- Knowledge of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
Candidate Profile
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Finance.
- 6 Months to 2 Years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Basic understanding of GST filing procedures and statutory compliance.
- Experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Knowledge of TDS, payroll processing, and MIS reporting will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in the accounting profession.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
