We are seeking a Lead Functional Consultant - SAP SD IS Retail to deliver standardized yet flexible SAP solutions across formats, channels, and countries. You will turn requirements into configuration and WRICEF specifications, coordinate offshore development, and lead Unit/Functional testing through UAT and go-live support. Responsibilities

Map business needs into advanced capabilities using best-in-class standard packages

Determine when localization or enhancements are required and support choices with clear business cases

Document functional requirements to direct application design and development

Propose solutions, configure the system, and author detailed WRICEF functional specifications

Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure technical solutions align with functional requirements and quality standards

Support Unit/Functional testing and help drive integration testing and UAT completion

Deliver scalable, sustainable, and integrated Business Solutions across multiple Formats, Channels, Countries, and Business Models

Contribute to Change Management by preparing training content and supporting organizational transformation

Deliver 3rd Level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across all European Operating Companies in scope

Work with peers across applications/modules to ensure seamless integration

Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure optimal cooperation

Drive identification of business process and system enhancements with the vendor and promote continuous improvement by evaluating work processes and user experiences
Requirements

Long-term experience of 10+ years implementing SAP applications

In-depth expertise in SAP SD and IS Retail modules
-
Strong knowledge of WRICEF functional specification design and configuration delivery

Ability to coordinate offshore development teams and manage Unit/Functional testing and UAT activities

Well-rounded background in Change Management, training content delivery, and organizational transformation support

Capability to deliver 3rd Level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across multiple operating companies

Clear understanding of business process design across multiple formats, channels, countries, and business models
