Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a growing industrial trading organization. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, banking, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Candidates with experience in trading, petroleum products, industrial products, lubricants, chemicals, or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor all banking transactions.
- Prepare and maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
- Generate and verify sales invoices, purchase entries, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with customers for payment follow-ups.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow summaries, and financial reports for management.
- Assist in GST compliance, TDS Compliance, including purchase and sales reconciliation and return-related documentation.
- Maintain expense records and verify supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the sales, dispatch, and billing teams to ensure accurate financial records.
- Support internal and statutory audits by maintaining proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Knowledge of Debit, Credit, Journal Entries, Ledger Management, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial documentation.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Experience in Tally ERP is preferred but not mandatory..
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently while meeting reporting deadlines.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.
- Additional certifications in Accounting, GST, or Tally will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in industrial trading, petroleum products, lubricants, chemicals, manufacturing, or similar sectors will be preferred.
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting operations and financial documentation..
