Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Civil Draughtsman to prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for cooling tower projects, industrial infrastructure, and related engineering works. The candidate will work closely with Civil/Structural Engineers, Design Engineers, Project Managers, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely preparation of drawings as per project specifications and applicable standards.
Note:-Familiarity with cooling towers, industrial projects, EPC projects, or heavy engineering will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare detailed 2D civil and structural drawings for cooling towers and associated industrial projects.
2. Develop GA drawings, layout drawings, foundation drawings, RCC drawings, structural drawings, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.
3. Prepare drawings for cooling tower basins, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, equipment supports, pipe racks, platforms, staircases, and other associated structures.
4. Prepare reinforcement detailing and bar bending schedule (BBS) based on engineering designs and approved structural calculations.
5. Prepare detailed drawings for RCC and structural steel works as per project requirements.
6. Coordinate with Civil/Structural Engineers to incorporate design changes, revisions, and technical inputs into drawings.
7. Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, constructability, and compliance with approved design specifications.
8. Prepare as-built drawings based on site feedback and actual execution conditions.
9. Modify and revise drawings based on client comments, consultant observations, and site requirements.
10. Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Project teams to ensure proper integration of civil and structural drawings.
11. Prepare shop drawings and fabrication/erection drawings wherever required.
12. Maintain proper control of drawing revisions, document numbering, and drawing registers.
13. Support project and site teams by providing technical drawings and clarifications during execution.
14. Visit project sites, when required, to understand site conditions, verify dimensions, and incorporate necessary changes in drawings.
15. Ensure all drawings are prepared and issued within the required project timelines and in accordance with company quality standards.
Required Skills :-
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is mandatory.
Knowledge of Civil 3D / Revit / STAAD Pro will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of civil and structural drawings.
Knowledge of RCC detailing, reinforcement detailing, structural steel, foundations, and industrial structures.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and structural designs.

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
