Summary
Support end-to-end delivery of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solutions across Application Development (AD) , Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Managed Services (AMS) engagements. The role involves configuring, enhancing, and supporting LIMS platforms to enable compliant, integrated, and efficient laboratory operations in regulated industries such as Pharma, Chemicals, and Manufacturing.
Technical Skills
Must-Have
Basic experience with LIMS platforms (LabVantage / LabWare / STARLIMS / Thermo Fisher)
Understanding of laboratory processes (QC / R&D / Stability / Sample Lifecycle)
Exposure to AMS support model (incident, service request, change management, SLA adherence)
Knowledge of SQL / data handling / basic querying
Understanding of GxP, data integrity, and compliance requirements
Experience in testing (SIT/UAT), defect tracking, and validation support
Good-to-Have
Experience in LIMS configuration / enhancements (forms, workflows, master data)
Exposure to SDLC / AD lifecycle (requirements build test deploy)
Integration knowledge with MES / ERP (SAP) / instruments / ELN
Awareness of CSV (Computer System Validation), 21 CFR Part 11
Exposure to Agile / DevOps tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
Basic scripting / configuration exposure (platform-specific tools)

Key Responsibilities
Provide L1/L2 support for LIMS applications, resolving incidents within SLA
Support minor enhancements, configuration changes, and continuous improvements
Participate in implementation and upgrade projects (AD) including configuration and testing
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and defect resolution
Assist in testing (SIT/UAT) and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) activities
Support release management, patching, and environment coordination
Work on integration issue analysis and data validation with MES/ERP ecosystems
Create and maintain SOPs, KT documents, and knowledge repositories
Experience & Qualification
2–3 years experience in LIMS / lab systems / application support or development
Background in Life Sciences / Engineering / IT
Experience in regulated industries (Pharma / Chemicals / Manufacturing) preferred
