Account Assistant
Location: Whitefield Bangalore
We are looking for a sincere, organized, and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, be willing to travel to project sites, and have hands-on experience with Tally.
Responsibilities
Visit project sites to collect and verify bills, vouchers, and supporting documents for accounting records.
Verify supplier bills for accuracy and ensure they are duly acknowledged and certified by Site Managers and QS before processing.
Record accounting entries in Tally.
Prepare petty cash annexures and reconcile actual petty cash with recorded balances.
Scan and maintain bills and supporting documents.
Assist in preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs).
Visit banks for official banking work as required.
Maintain and organize project-wise bill files, PO/WO files, and other documentation.
Maintain and file utility bills, rent agreements, and other statutory records.
Support the Accounts Department in day-to-day administrative and accounting activities.
Requirements
Graduate in B.Com (Mandatory).
Minimum 1 year of experience working with Tally.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and documentation.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Willingness to travel to project sites and banks within the city.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Honest, disciplined, and eager to learn.
Experience: 1–2 years preferred
Education: B.Com (Required)
Two Wheeler Driving License Required
