We are seeking an experienced and proactive HVAC Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of central air conditioning systems in a commercial high-rise building. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and hands-on experience in managing HVAC equipment in a commercial setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations and maintenance of HVAC systems, including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and air handling units.
- Monitor and operate Building Management Systems (BMS) for optimal HVAC performance.
- Manage and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and pump systems.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC equipment is carried out efficiently.
- Maintain logs, service reports, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with the facility management team for smooth functioning and timely issue resolution.
- Guide and lead the technician team in day-to-day tasks and ensure safety and operational standards are met.
Required Skills & Knowledge: In-depth understanding of:
- Chiller operations
- Pump systems
- BMS controls
- Cooling tower systems
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC system schematics and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Job Specification:
- Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning specialization preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in central HVAC operation and maintenance, preferably in commercial high-rise buildings
