Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Team Leader – Sales to lead, guide, and manage the sales team to achieve business growth targets. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, monitoring team productivity, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales activities, follow-ups, client meetings, and conversion ratios.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Train, motivate, and mentor team members for continuous performance improvement.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and sales planning sessions.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as production, dispatch, finance, and customer support for smooth order execution.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and handle escalations professionally.
- Prepare sales reports, MIS, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.
- Ensure discipline, productivity, and target orientation within the team.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members when required. Exhibition & Event Planning Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate company participation in exhibitions, expos, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Coordinate with vendors, marketing agencies, and internal teams for stall setup, branding, promotional materials, and logistics.
- Manage exhibition budgets, timelines, registrations, and event execution activities.
- Ensure proper lead generation and customer engagement during exhibitions.
- Track exhibition outcomes, prepare post-event reports, and monitor lead conversion.
- Represent the company professionally during industry events and networking opportunities.

Qualification

Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Sales/B2B Sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a sales team.
- Experience in Chemical / Pharma / Manufacturing industry preferred.
