Job Description – Counsellor
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Counsellor to join our team for promoting and managing admissions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a smart and professional personality, and the ability to guide students effectively toward the right career path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses and career opportunities.
- Handle walk-ins, inquiries, leads, and follow-ups for admissions.
- Explain course structure, curriculum, certifications, and career prospects confidently.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective students through calls, messages, emails, and meetings.
- Coordinate with the marketing and operations team for seminars, workshops, and admission activities.
- Maintain student data, inquiry records, and daily reports.
- Support admission conversion and achieve enrollment targets.
- Build strong relationships with colleges, students, and industry contacts.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Smart, confident, and presentable personality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong convincing and interpersonal abilities.
- Passionate about student counselling and career guidance.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM handling preferred.
- Prior experience in counselling, admissions, education, or sales will be an added advantage.
Qualification:
- Graduate in any stream.
- 1–3 years of experience preferred in counselling/admissions/sales.
