Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, honest, and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail food store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate cash records, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Generate bills and issue receipts.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve billing-related issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.
- Support the store team in stocking shelves and displaying products when required.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Follow company policies regarding cash handling and customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum 12th Pass (Graduate preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred, but freshers with good communication skills are welcome.
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
