Position description: Facilitate the well-being of employees by offering strategic counseling services, fostering a supportive work environment, and providing guidance on professional and personal development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Team Well-being and Morale: Foster a positive and supportive work environment by providing counseling services to middle-level managers, addressing stress, and promoting mental well-being within the team.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve interpersonal conflicts within the middle management team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to enhance team cohesion.
- Career Development Support: Offer guidance and counseling to middle managers on career progression, skill development, and goal-setting to ensure continuous professional growth and job satisfaction.
- Leadership Coaching: Provide counseling to enhance leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and decision-making capabilities of middle managers, contributing to effective and empathetic leadership.
- Stress Management Programs: Develop and implement stress management initiatives and programs to help middle managers cope with job-related pressures and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Performance Improvement Plans: Collaborate with middle management to identify areas of improvement, develop personalized performance plans, and provide ongoing support for achieving professional and organizational objectives.
- Change Management Support: Assist middle managers in navigating organizational changes, offering counseling to address concerns, manage uncertainties, and adapt to evolving work environments.
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): Coordinate and oversee EAPs, ensuring that middle managers have access to confidential counseling services to address personal and professional challenges.
- Workplace Mental Health Advocacy: Advocate for mental health awareness and support within the organization, working to reduce stigma and promote a culture of well-being among middle management and the broader workforce.
- Collaboration with HR: Collaborate with the Human Resources department to integrate counseling services seamlessly into talent development, employee engagement, and overall organizational wellness strategies.
