Job Opening: Stone & Diamond Assorter – National Facets
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (Local candidates preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in diamond/stone assorting or jewelry industry
Work Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 6 days a week
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and assort diamonds and gemstones according to size, shape, color, clarity, quality, and specifications.
- Check stones carefully for matching pairs, calibrated sizes, and consistency.
- Select and arrange stones according to jewelry design and production requirements.
- Identify differences in quality, color, cut, shape, and dimensions.
- Ensure accurate stone matching for earrings, rings, pendants, bracelets, and other jewelry pieces.
- Maintain proper records of stone assortments, quantities, sizes, and requirements.
- Coordinate with the CAD, production, and jewelry manufacturing teams for stone-related requirements.
- Inspect stones for visible defects, damage, chips, and inconsistencies before production.
- Follow company standards and quality-control procedures.
- Handle diamonds and gemstones carefully and maintain proper accountability.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in diamond/stone assorting, preferably in the jewelry industry.
- Good knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, shapes, sizes, colors, and clarity.
- Strong visual observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately match stones according to jewelry designs and specifications.
- Knowledge of diamond and gemstone terminology will be an advantage.
- Experience with stone setting or jewelry manufacturing processes will be preferred.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Candidates with experience in Jaipur's jewelry/diamond industry will be preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
