We are looking for a skilled RDK-B developer with expertise in RDK-B , YOCTO to join our RDK-B developer team. If you know someone who fits the profile, please refer them to us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and customize RDK-B components to meet product and customer-specific requirements.
- Focuses on software development, module implementation, and feature integration.
- Involves working in YOCTO and Linux environments, writing code (often in C/C++), debugging and troubleshooting issues, and integrating new features
- Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Primary Skillset:
- 4+ years of experience in Networking domain projects
- Proficient in Layer3 and router subsystems
- Strong experience in C, Linux
- Working experience with WiFi driver integrational and MESH technologies
- Interact with SoC vendor on driver issues and provide assistance in fixing issues.
Preferred Skillset:
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with RDK-B platform[preferable]
- Hands on strong programming skills in C/C++
- Hands on Linux system programming, Threads, IPC mechanism
- Experience with CCSP and HAL in RDK-B is a plus.
- Proficiency in Linux Internals, YOCTO build system
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals & protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPV4/IPV6
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Gerrit, Jenkins, Git.
- Exposure to DOCSIS, GPON, LTE/5G, and Ethernet technologies.
- Exposure to Wi-Fi 802.11 protocols and its internals will be plus
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
