We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee wire harness manufacturing operations and lead a production team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in wire harness assembly, production planning, team management, and quality compliance. The role requires effective supervision of shop floor activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
- Supervise day-to-day wire harness manufacturing activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources efficiently.
- Coordinate with planning, quality, stores, and engineering teams to ensure smoot production.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 15 production personnel.
Assign daily work activities and monitor performance.
- Train and guide team members on manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and teamwork on the shop floor.
3. Quality & Process Compliance
- Ensure all assemblies are manufactured as per drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship standards for wire harness assemblies.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to address non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework and defects.
4. Production Planning & Reporting
- Track production progress and provide status updates to management.
- Maintain production records, manpower allocation, and daily reports.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
- Support timely completion of customer orders and project milestones.
5. Safety & Workplace Management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Promote safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 12-15 years in wire harness manufacturing, with supervisory experience.
- Proven experience managing a team of at least 8 production personnel.
- Strong understanding of wire harness assembly processes, drawings, and manufacturing practices.
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to handle production planning, reporting, and shop floor coordination.
- Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
Certifications : Mandatory – PAX-300, Preferred – IPC 620C trainer certification

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
