Job Summary
Unitech Construction is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction site activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction and site activities.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, architects, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and overall site productivity.
- Check measurements, quantities, levels, alignment, and quality of construction work.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, work progress reports, measurement sheets, and site records.
- Monitor concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, and other civil works.
- Ensure proper utilization of construction materials and minimize wastage.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Safety teams to maintain required standards.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and report delays or deviations.
- Ensure compliance with safety practices and company procedures at the construction site.
- Assist in quantity estimation, material planning, billing, and verification of contractor measurements.
- Perform other site and project-related responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Manage and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, supervisors, and project management teams.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Supervise major civil works including RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Check measurements, levels, alignment, quantities, and workmanship at site.
- Review and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity estimates, measurement sheets, work orders, and contractor bills.
- Monitor material requirements, consumption, inventory, and wastage at site.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure construction is carried out as per required standards.
- Identify technical and execution-related issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Monitor contractor and manpower productivity and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Coordinate with the Safety team to ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Maintain proper records of site activities, measurements, materials, inspections, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs and assist in controlling unnecessary material and labour expenditure.
- Coordinate with management and project teams regarding project progress, challenges, and requirements.
- Ensure proper handover and completion of assigned works within the stipulated timeline.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
