Role Description
Fillip Infra is seeking a Quality Manager (Mechanical Engineer) to lead our Third-Party Quality Assurance team for the Large Road Tunnel Project in Mumbai city.
You will be the primary guardian of quality, ensuring that every aspect of the tunnel construction—from materials to workmanship—adheres to the highest international standards and project specifications. Qualifications
Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 0-1 years of experience in QA/QC roles
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of basics of mechanical engineer and tunnel boaring machines.
Soft Skills: Sharp eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain authority on-site to enforce quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive TPQA plan specifically for twin tunnel construction.
Standard Compliance: Ensure all works comply with international tunneling standards.
Site Inspections: Lead rigorous on-site inspections of tunneling activities (TBM operations, NATM, or cut-and-cover as applicable).
Workmanship Control: Oversee the workmanship of mechanical installations to prevent non-conformities.
Audit & Reporting: Conduct internal audits and prepare detailed Quality NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), ensuring timely closure and root cause analysis.
Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and specialized environmental/M&E consultants to resolve quality bottlenecks.
