A leading educational institute in Trivandrum is seeking a proactive and dynamic Placement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with industry partners, creating placement opportunities for our students, and ensuring successful student placements. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with companies across various industries to create job placement opportunities for students.
- Identify and contact potential employers to discuss partnership opportunities for campus recruitment.
- Organize and coordinate campus placement drives, job fairs, and recruitment events.
- Understand the employment needs of companies and match them with the skills of students to ensure successful placements.
- Assist students in preparing for interviews, including resume building, interview coaching, and career counseling.
- Maintain a database of companies, contacts, and placement records.
- Regularly communicate with students and alumni to understand their career goals and provide job-related guidance.
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure student readiness for placement opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding student placement success rates and areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- Any degree.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet placement targets.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and database management.
- Knowledge of the current job market trends and requirements across various industries.
Salary
For Experienced: 25000 to 32000
For Fresher: 15000 to 20000
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
