The Warehouse Executive plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. - Oversee and manage all inbound and outbound warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all warehouse transactions, maintaining precise inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a productive and cohesive team environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and storage capacity.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales departments to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely order fulfillment.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure all machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) are in good working condition.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory discrepancies.
