Role Summary
A mixologist is responsible for creating, preparing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering a premium guest experience. The role involves cocktail innovation, beverage presentation, bar operations management, and maintaining high hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages
- Create signature cocktails and seasonal beverage menus
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality standards
- Interact professionally with guests and provide beverage recommendations
- Maintain bar cleanliness, hygiene, and organization
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate bar inventory requirements
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
- Handle bar opening and closing procedures
- Operate POS and process customer bills/payments
- Support special events, VIP service, and promotions
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Creativity in beverage presentation and recipe development
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good upselling and sales skills
- Team-oriented with professional grooming standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in bartending or mixology
- Previous experience in bars, luxury clubs, lounges, hotels, or fine dining restaurants
- Knowledge of flair bartending (optional)
- Familiarity with inventory and beverage cost control
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended hours
- Handling bar equipment and beverage stock
- Ability to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
