Job Purpose
We are looking for a sharp, curious, and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our analytics team. In this role, you will help transform raw data into actionable business insights. You will be responsible for cleaning datasets, building automated dashboards, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to help our teams make smarter, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities1. Data Collection & Cleaning
- Data Pipelines: Assist in gathering data from various internal and external sources (SQL databases, Web Analytics, CRMs, and flat files).
- Data Wrangling: Clean, transform, and prepare raw data for analysis, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Database Queries: Write and optimize basic SQL queries to extract necessary datasets for routine and ad-hoc requests.
2. Reporting & Visualizations
- Dashboarding: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Routine Reporting: Automate weekly and monthly performance reports for various departments to reduce manual overhead.
- Data Documentation: Help maintain the team's data dictionary, ensuring definitions and metrics are clearly documented.
3. Insights & Analytics
- Trend Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to spot emerging trends, anomalies, or shifts in user/business behavior.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, or operations teams to understand their data requirements and explain findings in simple, non-technical terms.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Database & Querying: Strong foundational knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregations, and subqueries).
- Spreadsheets: Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas).
- Data Visualization: Hands-on experience or project work utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Programming (Plus): Basic familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: A natural curiosity to ask "why" behind numbers, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to articulate technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
