About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Aquaculture / Aqua Feed Sales Manager to drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence in the aquaculture industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in aqua feed sales, a strong understanding of aquaculture farming practices, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Promote and sell aqua feed products to fish and shrimp farmers, distributors, and dealers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular farm visits to understand customer needs and provide technical recommendations on feed usage and farm performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business growth.
- Coordinate with technical, production, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance reports.
- Organize product demonstrations, farmer meetings, and promotional activities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Marine Biology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in aquaculture, aqua feed sales, fisheries, or related agribusiness sectors.
- Strong knowledge of fish and shrimp farming practices and nutrition.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage.
