Interior Site Engineer – Project Execution

About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Interior Site Engineer to manage and coordinate interior execution at project sites.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of interior execution, good understanding of working drawings, and the ability to coordinate contractors, vendors, and site teams while maintaining quality, timelines, and execution standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day interior execution at project sites.
- Understand and execute work as per approved working drawings, details, BOQ, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Plan and monitor work sequences to ensure timely project completion.
- Supervise and coordinate various interior works including:
- Carpentry & furniture
- Modular work
- False ceiling & gypsum work
- Flooring & stone
- Painting & polishing
- Glass & aluminium
- Electrical & plumbing coordination
- Hardware and other finishing works
- Check dimensions, levels, alignments, materials, and workmanship at site.
- Identify execution issues and coordinate timely resolution.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and required quality standards.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate with vendors/contractors for timely availability.
- Track daily site progress and maintain proper site records.
- Prepare and share regular progress updates, photographs, measurements, and snag lists.
- Coordinate different trades to avoid clashes and unnecessary rework.
- Monitor contractor performance and labour productivity.
- Ensure proper site discipline, housekeeping, safety, and work practices.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure defects are rectified before handover.
- Escalate delays, design conflicts, material issues, and other project risks to the management/design team.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior execution/site management.
- Strong understanding of interior construction and finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand working drawings and detailed drawings.
- Good knowledge of measurements, levels, dimensions, and site execution.
- Good contractor and labour coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned work and follow up until completion.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel/Google Sheets will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
