Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Moulding Operator with 1–3 years of experience in operating and maintaining moulding machines in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine setup, production monitoring, quality inspection, and ensuring safe and efficient moulding operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
- Operate moulding machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform machine setup, start-up, and shutdown activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
Quality Control
- Inspect moulded components for dimensional accuracy and visual defects.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Segregate and report defective or non-conforming parts.
- Maintain production and inspection records.
Machine Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of moulding machines.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine repairs and troubleshooting.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of moulds, tools, and accessories.
Material Handling
- Load raw materials into the moulding machine as per production requirements.
- Monitor material consumption and report shortages.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize machine utilization.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S practices in the work area.
- Adhere to ISO quality standards and production documentation requirements.
Documentation
- Record daily production output, machine downtime, rejection data, and shift reports.
- Update production logs and communicate shift handovers effectively.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / PUC (Technical qualification preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in moulding machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
Technical SkillsMandatory Skills
- Experience operating moulding machines
- Machine setup and production monitoring

- Knowledge of mould changing procedures

- Understanding of manufacturing safety practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience in plastic, rubber, silicone, or optical component moulding

- Experience working in ISO-certified manufacturing environments
