- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of clinical departments and ensure smooth delivery of patient care services.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, rehabilitation and other clinical and support departments.
- Ensure effective coordination between clinical departments to facilitate seamless patient care.
- Monitor patient flow, admission, discharge, transfer and referral processes.
- Monitor clinical operational efficiency, patient waiting time, turnaround time and service delivery standards.
- Ensure adequate manpower deployment and optimal utilization of clinical resources.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding staffing requirements, workload and operational challenges.
- Monitor compliance with clinical policies, SOPs, protocols and hospital guidelines.
- Support implementation and monitoring of NABH standards and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor patient safety practices and coordinate with the Quality and Patient Safety departments for corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure effective implementation of infection prevention and control practices in coordination with the Infection Control Team.
- Monitor clinical documentation, medical records and compliance with documentation standards.
- Coordinate clinical audits, quality audits, tracer activities and accreditation-related assessments.
- Monitor key clinical indicators and prepare periodic performance reports for management review.
- Identify gaps in clinical services and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate investigation and resolution of patient complaints related to clinical services.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical clinical and operational issues to the appropriate authority.
- Facilitate effective communication between clinicians, nursing staff, administration and support services.
- Monitor availability and appropriate utilization of clinical equipment, medicines and consumables in coordination with concerned departments.
- Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering and Maintenance departments regarding breakdowns, preventive maintenance and availability of critical equipment.
- Monitor emergency preparedness and coordination of clinical services during emergency situations and mass-casualty events.
- Participate in clinical risk management and support reporting, analysis and prevention of adverse events and near misses.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to clinical services.
- Coordinate clinical staff orientation, training, competency development and continuing education in collaboration with HR and Nursing Education.
- Conduct regular meetings with clinical department representatives and follow up on action points.
- Review departmental performance against defined KPIs and facilitate performance improvement.
- Support implementation of new clinical services, processes, technologies and operational initiatives.
- Assist management in clinical manpower planning, capacity planning and service expansion.
- Promote a culture of patient-centred care, ethical practice, teamwork and professional accountability.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient and organizational information.
- Prepare and submit clinical operations reports, dashboards and MIS reports to management.
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Pay: ₹50,000.96 - ₹60,679.18 per month
