Job Responsibilities of Sewing line QC/QA:
Ø Purpose:
Sewing Line QC (Quality Control) involves ensuring the quality and accuracy of Sewing operations, including inspecting pattern vs cut panels , identifying and addressing Sewing defects, and ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
Ø Job Responsibilities:
1. Daily Line Monitoring – Visit assigned sewing lines regularly to monitor overall quality practices and provide on-the-spot feedback.
2. Initial Garment Review – Check first output of every style or operation to ensure correct construction, trims, and measurements.
3. Defect Detection – Identify defects such as skip stitches, puckering, wrong operations, or fabric shading and take immediate action.
4. Real-Time Operator Guidance – Provide instant correction support to sewing operators to reduce defect recurrence and enhance awareness.
5. Inline Audit Support – Assist inline QCs during audits and support quick root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
6. Garment Measurement Checks – Randomly measure finished panels or garments to ensure size consistency as per tech pack.
7. Hourly Quality Status Reporting – Record line-wise defect rates and highlight critical issues to the line supervisor and quality in-charge.
8. Preventive Action Monitoring – Ensure preventive actions are followed on the floor for previously identified quality issues.
9. Coordination with QA & Production Teams – Work closely with QA and production departments to resolve on going quality challenges.
10. Documentation & Escalation – Maintain daily quality logs and immediately report major issues or potential risks to the QC in-charge.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
