About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Argon Welder (TIG Welder) to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality argon (TIG) welding on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and other metal components while ensuring accuracy, strength, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Argon (TIG) welding on various metal components and fabricated assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting.
- Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
- Repair and rework defective welds as required.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, and quality teams to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Argon/TIG Welding.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for Stainless Steel (SS), Mild Steel (MS), and Aluminum.
- Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
- Familiarity with welding symbols and measurements.
- Knowledge of welding tools, machines, and safety practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Qualification
- ITI (Welder/Fitter) preferred.
- Relevant welding certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years to maximum 10 years of experience in Argon/TIG Welding.
- Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial equipment industries preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Skilled in precision welding and finishing.
- Ability to handle production targets and quality requirements.
- Good understanding of fabrication processes.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹30,086.00 - ₹35,419.70 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Argon welding: 1 year (Preferred)
