About AgroNest Ventures:
AgroNest Ventures Private Limited is an AI-first, deep-tech agri-startup building scalable solutions for real-world resilience. From deploying advanced IoT telemetry to operating the largest drone-spraying network in India, we translate high-level technology into affordable, ground-level assets. Having already impacted over 300,000+ farmers, we are expanding our core field-operations team to build deeper trust, ensure seamless execution, and drive the mass adoption of precision agriculture.
Role Overview:
As a Farmer Engagement, Operations & Relationship Associate, you will be the human face of AgroNest within your assigned rural cluster. You are the critical link between our technical tools (AI, IoT, Drones) and the farming community. Your mission is two-fold: build trust-based, long-term relationships with farmers and lead the local operations required to deliver our tech services smoothly. This role requires an empathetic communicator, a sharp logistical problem-solver, and a true champion for rural development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with progressive farmers, village leaders, and local agricultural influencers to drive brand loyalty.
- FPO & Cooperative Onboarding: Identify, engage, and onboard Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and cooperative societies onto the AgroNest digital ecosystem.
- On-Field Operations & Logistics: Coordinate day-to-day schedules for our drone pilots and IoT installation teams, ensuring maximum machine utilization and timely service delivery.
- Farmer Education & Demos: Organize and host village-level interactive meetings, live demonstrations, and educational workshops to teach farmers the economic benefits of precision tech.
- Demand Aggregation: Group small-scale farm landholdings together into geographical clusters to make drone-spraying drives and IoT rollouts highly cost-effective and operationally efficient.
- Feedback & Service Quality: Gather ground-level user feedback, manage billing/collections at the cluster level, and ensure any service delivery issues are resolved within 24 hours.
Qualifications & Traits:
- Education: Graduate or Diploma in Agriculture, Social Work, Rural Development, Business Administration, or a related field. (Passion for rural impact matters more than a specific degree).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in rural sales, microfinance, agricultural field operations, or community organizing. Freshers with exceptional communication skills are welcome.
- Hyper-Local Language Skills: Native fluency in the regional language of your assigned cluster is absolutely mandatory.
- Empathy & Leadership: A high degree of emotional intelligence to communicate respectfully with rural stakeholders, alongside the confidence to lead community gatherings.
- Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for daily local travel across village clusters.
- Digital Literacy: Comfortable operating mobile apps for tracking schedules, registering farmers, and recording payments.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary paired with performance-driven cluster-growth bonuses.
- Comprehensive field-travel and mobile phone allowances.
- Industry-standard medical insurance and accidental on-field coverage.
- The opportunity to learn the operations of a fast-scaling tech startup while creating immediate, measurable economic growth for local farmers.
