About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and curious Data Analysis Intern to join our SEO team. In this role, you will work directly with Search Engine Results Page (SERP) data and transform raw data into actionable insights. A key part of your work will involve leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and generate high-quality reports.

Key Responsibilities
SEO Data Analysis
- Extract, clean, and analyse SERP data retrieved via APIs (e.g., SerpAPI, DataForSEO).
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, and competitor performance metrics.
- Identify patterns and anomalies in search result data to support strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to visualise SEO KPIs.
AI-Assisted Research & Prompting
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to streamline data summarisation and content analysis.
- Design and refine prompts to extract precise, structured outputs from large language models.
- Automate routine reporting tasks with AI-assisted workflows.
- Stay updated on best practices for prompting and AI tool capabilities.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with the SEO and marketing teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Document methodologies, workflows, and findings in clear, concise formats.
- Present analysis results to stakeholders in weekly review meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Python (pandas, NumPy), or SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar, with the ability to craft effective prompts.
- Familiarity with APIs and working with JSON/CSV data formats.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Should have exposure to Data analysis algorithms like Random Forest etc.
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts (keywords, SERPs, rankings, backlinks, on-page SEO).
- Experience with SERP APIs such as SerpAPI, DataForSEO, or Bright Data.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or matplotlib/seaborn).
- Exposure to web scraping tools (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Playwright).
- Familiarity with Google Search Console or Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering principles and LLM capabilities.
