- Vendor Sourcing & Evaluation: Researching, selecting, and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiating contract terms, pricing, and payment terms to secure the best value.
- Procurement Process: Creating and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in requisitions.
- Inventory Management: Reviewing stock levels and placing orders to ensure continuous supply chain operations.
- Delivery & Quality Assurance: Tracking order status, resolving supplier issues, and inspecting goods to meet quality standards.
- Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintaining accurate documentation, such as invoices and delivery records, and producing financial reports.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
Key Skills & Requirements
- Negotiation Skills: Strong abilities to negotiate price, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Analytical Skills: Competent in cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Gorfugal) and MS Office.
- Communication: Effective interpersonal skills for managing vendor relationships and collaborating with internal teams.
- Education/Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics and proven experience as a Purchasing Officer.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
