Petra Creations is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team in Kakkanad, Kochi. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating engaging visual content across digital and print platforms. Whether you are a talented fresher looking to launch your career or a junior designer with up to a year of experience, we want to see your unique visual storytelling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Content Design: Develop visually appealing graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), digital ads, and marketing campaigns.
- Branding & Collateral: Assist in creating layout designs, banners, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
- Asset Maintenance: Edit, update, and improve existing design templates and brand assets to maintain consistency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and management teams to understand project requirements and translate design briefs into high-quality visuals.
- Feedback Integration: Revise designs efficiently based on constructive feedback.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on knowledge of industry-standard design tools, primarily Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (Knowledge of Canva, InDesign, or Premiere Pro is a plus).
- Design Fundamentals: A solid understanding of typography, color theory, page layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Portfolio: A mandatory portfolio showcasing creative projects, academic work, or freelance designs (please include a link with your application).
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new trends, tools, and design techniques quickly.
- Communication: Basic communication skills to discuss project briefs and present design ideas.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field
