We are looking for a skilled Substation Automation Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in substation automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of automation systems in electrical substations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of Substation Automation Systems (SAS)
- Configuration of IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices)
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems
- Protocol engineering using IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3
- Testing & commissioning of control and protection systems
- Integration of RTU, PLC, and communication networks
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of automation systems
- Coordination with site engineers and project teams
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Substation Automation & Protection Systems
- Experience with IEC 61850 configuration tools (like DIGSI, PCM600, etc.)
- Understanding of SCADA / HMI systems
- Knowledge of communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, Ethernet, Fiber Optics)
- Basic knowledge of PLC/RTU systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience
- 2 to 5 years in Substation Automation / Electrical Projects
Preferred
- Experience in Transmission & Distribution projects
- Site commissioning experience
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
