Part-Time Montessori & LEGO-Based Learning Teacher
Hours: 4-5 hours per day | Monday – Saturday
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a small, Edtech company seeking creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Teacher who combines the Montessori philosophy with hands-on LEGO-based learning and storytelling. This role goes beyond the classroom — you will be a lesson designer, storyteller, and builder who brings learning to life through imaginative, child-centered experiences.
We are looking for Freshers and Women who are looking to restart their careers and have experience working with children aged 3 -10 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEGO-Based Learning & Storytelling
- Design and conduct engaging LEGO-based classes that integrate storytelling, creative thinking, and problem-solving
- Weave narratives and themed stories into each LEGO session to spark imagination and deeper engagement
- Guide children in building, reflecting on, and presenting their LEGO creations
- Connect LEGO activities to learning concepts (math, language, science, social skills) in a playful way
- Encourage both collaborative and independent LEGO building experiences
Lesson Preparation & Content Creation
- Create short instructional or story-based videos ahead of each LEGO class to introduce the day's theme or challenge
- Design and prepare physical props, visual aids, and story materials to enrich the LEGO session
- Plan weekly LEGO themes and storylines that are age-appropriate and curriculum-linked
- Organize and maintain LEGO materials, sets, and props in a ready-to-use manner
QUALIFICATIONS
- Montessori certification (AMI or AMS preferred; trainees considered). Should have Diploma and /or PG Diploma in Montessori Education
- Experience or strong interest in LEGO-based or project-based learning
- Natural storytelling ability — can captivate young children through narrative
- Basic video creation skills (phone/tablet recording, simple editing apps like CapCut, Canva, or iMovie)
- Crafty and resourceful — able to make simple props and visual aids
- Prior experience working with children aged 2.5–6 years (or relevant age group)
- Warm, patient, imaginative, and child-focused approach
- Ability to work independently with strong self-organization
