Job Summary
The Pharmacist cum Sales Executive is responsible for dispensing medicines safely and accurately while also driving sales of pharmacy, cosmetics, personal care, wellness, and healthcare products. The role combines professional pharmaceutical services with customer service, merchandising, product promotion, inventory management, and achieving store sales targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Pharmacy Operations
- Dispense prescription medicines as per legal and professional standards.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Counsel customers regarding medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Handle OTC medicine recommendations responsibly.
- Record Schedule H/H1/X medicines as required by law.
2. Customer Service
- Welcome every customer professionally.
- Understand customer needs through effective questioning.
- Recommend suitable healthcare and wellness products.
- Assist customers in selecting cosmetics and personal care products.
- Handle complaints courteously and resolve issues promptly.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
3. Product Promotion & Sales Responsibilities
The employee shall actively participate in increasing store sales through ethical selling practices.
