About the Role
SRM Group is looking for a Civil Purchase Executive to manage procurement for construction and civil project requirements. The candidate will ensure timely purchase of construction materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase civil/construction materials, hardware, electrical & plumbing items
- Collect and compare quotations from vendors/suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with site/store/accounts team
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely material replenishment at sites
- Maintain vendor database and follow up for timely deliveries
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers for cost-effective procurement
- Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality standards
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in purchase/procurement from civil construction background
- Knowledge of construction materials and vendor handling
