- Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Monitor database performance and perform performance tuning (queries, indexes, execution plans).
- Manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and database maintenance activities.
- Configure and support SQL Server High Availability solutions (Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster, Log Shipping).
- Monitor database health, storage, replication, and server resources.
- Perform database security administration, user management, roles, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot database issues, blocking, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement database patching and version upgrades.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using PowerShell or T-SQL scripts.
