Job Responsibilities
# Manage end-to-end planning, procurement coordination and inventory of tyre raw materials including Natural & Synthetic Rubber, Carbon Black, Silica, Chemicals, Oils, Resins, Steel Cord, Bead Wire and Textile materials.
# End to End Store Operations
# Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials as per production plans and MRP requirements.
# Maintain optimum inventory levels, safety stock, reorder levels and material availability.
# Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality, R&D, Stores and Logistics teams.
# Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality issues and material shortages.
# Drive inventory reduction, cost optimization and working-capital improvement.
# Monitor material consumption, stock ageing, slow-moving/obsolete materials and price variance.
# Ensure proper storage, FIFO/FEFO, material traceability and warehouse practices.
# Prepare MIS reports covering inventory, consumption, shortages, supplier performance and material costs.
# Identify alternate sources and support vendor development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills:
# Strong knowledge of tyre raw materials, MRP/ERP, inventory management and supplier coordination.
# Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving and team-management skills.
