WordPress & Shopify Designer cum Developer – eCommerce Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for a versatile WordPress & Shopify Designer cum Developer who can own a project end-to-end — from crafting beautiful designs to building fully functional, high-converting ecommerce websites. If you're equally comfortable in Figma and a code editor, this role is built for you.
Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Experience: 3+ Years | Joining: Immediate preferred | Interview: In-person
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop responsive, conversion-focused Shopify stores and WordPress websites from scratch
- Create wireframes, mockups, and UI designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop — then bring them to life yourself
- Customize Shopify themes and WordPress websites as per client and business requirements
- Build pages using Elementor, Divi, or Shopify's native page builders
- Convert PSD/Figma/XD designs into pixel-perfect, fully responsive web pages
- Integrate and manage Shopify apps, WooCommerce extensions, and third-party APIs
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness
- Handle website maintenance — security, backups, and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver branding and campaign assets
Technical Skills Required
- Shopify theme development, store setup, and customization
- WordPress development with Elementor and Divi
- WooCommerce setup, customization, and third-party integrations
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- SEO fundamentals and performance tools — GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights
- Plugin/app integrations and custom functionality development
Design Skills Required
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with an ecommerce focus
- Ability to design high-converting landing pages, product pages, and marketing assets
- Eye for typography, color theory, and brand consistency
What You Bring
- 3+ years of combined experience in WordPress & Shopify design and development
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end ecommerce and business website projects
- Ability to independently manage projects from design concept to final launch
- Solid understanding of technical SEO and responsive design standards
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
