We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head – Civil Engineering to lead our construction operations, ensuring timely project execution, superior quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple residential and commercial construction projects.
- Develop project execution strategies to ensure timely delivery within approved budgets and quality standards.
- Manage project teams, including Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Review and approve project schedules, construction methodologies, BOQs, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, IS codes, statutory regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures to maintain timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and management for seamless project execution.
- Review contractor bills, work measurements, procurement plans, and material utilization.
- Drive quality assurance (QA/QC), productivity, and operational excellence across all project sites.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide regular project updates to senior management.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree (M.E./M.Tech.) in Civil Engineering is preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise building construction.
- Proven experience leading large-scale construction projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, project planning, quality control, billing, and construction methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of IS Codes, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
