Job Summary
We are looking for compassionate and responsible Staff Nurses to provide quality nursing care to patients. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining clinical records, assisting doctors, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to their medical needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition, and treatment progress.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient nursing records.
- Follow infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety protocols.
- Attend to patients and respond promptly to their needs and emergencies.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, treatment, diet, and basic healthcare.
- Maintain proper documentation of medications, procedures, and patient observations.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of nursing equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, doctors, and other staff members.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and professional ethics.
- Perform other nursing duties assigned by the Nursing Superintendent or management.
Eligibility
- ANM: Candidates with a recognized ANM qualification may be considered for applicable nursing roles.
- GNM: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- B.Sc. Nursing: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration with the applicable State Nursing Council, as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
