1. Purpose of the Role
Quality Assurance (QA) Manager ensures all textile products meet internal quality standards, customer expectations, and legal/compliance requirements, from raw material to finished product. They develop QA procedures, lead inspection teams (QC), manage supplier quality, and implement corrective actions to minimize defects and reduce waste, often utilizing ISO 9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
· System Development: Create and update quality SOPs, manuals, and testing protocols.
· Production Monitoring: Oversee in-line inspections, ensuring standards are met during cutting, sewing, and washing.
· Quality Inspection: Inspect raw materials (fabric GSM, shrinkage, colour fastness), samples and final finished goods.
· Compliance & Testing: Ensure products meet international regulations and maintain product certifications.
· Team Leadership: Lead and train QC inspectors and staff in quality best practices.
· Continuous Improvement: Analyse quality data, identify defects, and apply corrective actions to minimize waste and improve processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree/Post Graduate in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or Materials Science.
· Experience: Should have 12 to 15 years proven experience in Quality Assurance /Quality Control in textiles or apparel. Experience in Home textile products is an added advantage
· Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabric properties, dyeing, finishing, and testing methodologies.
· Certifications: Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is highly desirable.
· Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, MS Office, and strong leadership/communication skills
Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
