Job Overview
The Wake Makers is looking for a passionate and skilled Wedding Videographer to join our team. We are seeking someone with at least 1 year of professional experience in wedding cinematography who has a creative eye for capturing emotions, moments, and stories in a cinematic style. The ideal candidate should be confident in handling professional camera equipment and working in fast-paced wedding environments.
Responsibilities
* Capture cinematic wedding films, pre-wedding shoots, and wedding events.
* Record key moments, candid emotions, rituals, and details with creativity and precision.
* Operate professional cameras, lenses, gimbals, drones (if applicable), and other filmmaking equipment.
* Work closely with photographers and editors to ensure complete event coverage.
* Ensure proper camera settings, exposure, focus, and audio quality during shoots.
* Manage and safely transfer footage after every event.
* Maintain equipment and follow The Wake Makers’ shooting style and quality standards.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of professional experience in wedding videography/cinematography is mandatory.
* Strong knowledge of camera operations, composition, lighting, and framing.
* Experience using professional camera systems such as Sony, Canon, or Nikon.
* Comfortable using gimbals, monopods, tripods, and other stabilisation equipment.
* Ability to work long hours during weddings and travel when required.
* Good communication skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
* Looking for a long-term, permanent role.
