Job Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the hospital front desk operations efficiently and professionally. The role includes attending patients and visitors, handling registrations, managing appointments, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain accurate patient records and front desk documentation.
- Coordinate with departments regarding patient movement and services.
- Attend incoming calls and provide appropriate information or transfer calls accordingly.
- Verify patient details such as UHID, contact information, and billing-related documents.
- Guide patients regarding consultations, admissions, investigations, and discharge procedures.
- Maintain proper queue management and patient flow at the reception area.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
- Handle billing coordination and basic cash handling, if required.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the reception area.
- Provide support during emergencies and hospital operational requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hospital reception/front office preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
Pay: ₹8,660.27 - ₹15,000.00 per month
