About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to assist surgeons in performing advanced hair restoration and regenerative procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining OT sterility, assisting during hair transplant surgeries, preparing patients, handling surgical instruments, and supporting procedures such as PRP, GFC, and other regenerative therapies.
Key ResponsibilitiesHair Transplant Assistance
- Assist surgeons during hair transplant procedures using:
- FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
- DHT (Direct Hair Transplant)
- DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)
- Prepare grafts and maintain graft viability throughout the procedure.
- Assist in donor area extraction and recipient site implantation.
- Support graft counting, sorting, hydration, and organization.
- Ensure smooth workflow during long surgical procedures.
Regenerative Procedures
- Assist doctors during:
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
- GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate)
- Mesotherapy
- Microneedling (if applicable)
- Prepare centrifuge and processing kits.
- Handle blood collection materials as per protocol.
- Maintain sterility during injectable procedures.
Operation Theatre Management
- Prepare OT before every procedure.
- Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain aseptic and infection control standards.
- Arrange surgical consumables and implants.
- Ensure availability of emergency medications and equipment.
- Clean and reset OT after each procedure.
Patient Care
- Prepare patients for surgery.
- Assist in positioning and draping.
- Monitor patient comfort during procedures.
- Provide post-procedure instructions under doctor's guidance.
- Assist during dressing and wound care.
Equipment Handling
- Operate:
- FUE punch machine
- Implant pens (DHI)
- Magnification devices
- Centrifuge machines
- Surgical microscopes/loupes
- Perform routine equipment checks and report faults.
Documentation
- Maintain OT records and surgery logs.
- Record consumables used during procedures.
- Track instrument sterilization records.
- Ensure compliance with NABH and infection control protocols (if applicable).
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock of surgical consumables.
- Coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
- Maintain expiry records of medicines and consumables.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Operation Theatre Technology (BSc OTT / Diploma in OT Technology) or equivalent.
- Certification in OT techniques is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in an operation theatre.
- Prior experience in hair transplant clinics is highly preferred.
- Experience assisting FUE, DHI, DHT, PRP, and GFC procedures is desirable.

Pay: ₹20,060.86 - ₹36,640.13 per month
