Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and components. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating efficient and reliable products.
Designation: Mechanical Design Engineer
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design of min. 8 years, preferably in product
development or product design.
- Experience in preferred industry from Heater / Boiler Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
Skills:
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and drafting using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept to production.
- Conduct thorough research to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Generate detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using industry-standard CAD software
- Verify comprehensive design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and analysis of prototypes, making necessary design iterations to meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM standards thoroughly.
