Role Overview We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the inventory and supply chain operations for our Central Kitchen. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of raw materials and supplies, maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, and supporting our production team in meeting daily food output goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Manage daily inward and outward movement of stock, ensuring accurate data entry into our tracking systems.
- Stock Control: Perform regular physical audits of dry, cold, and frozen storage to prevent stockouts and minimize wastage/spoilage.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming raw materials for quality, freshness, and adherence to food safety standards before storage.
- Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and report any discrepancies in quantities or quality immediately.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the storage facility in strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (FIFO/FEFO management).
- Reporting: Generate daily consumption reports and assist the management team with monthly inventory reconciliation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or Inventory Clerk, preferably in a hotel, catering, or restaurant environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments (including cold rooms).
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with vendors and kitchen staff.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
